Ever After (2010 Remix)

A 2 track deep house single (13m 13s) — released September 6th 2010 on Farplane Records

Re-visiting his first production ever on Farplane Records, Rasmus Faber gives his smash hit "Ever After" the 2010 remix treatment. Credited as a dancefloor staple by many of the industry's main players when it was first released in 2003, "Ever After" (2010 remix) is packing rolling basslines with drama filled horns and of course the unforgettable vocal loop of Emily McEwan gets brought to the chop shop and driven threw a filter for primetime dance-floor effect. "Ever After" is also given the dub treatment in a second remix and is sure to be well received the second time around, judging by the support below. Rasmus has carefully loaded both tunes to the brim with dancefloor hooks and influences from the four corners of the planet to insure this EP follows in suit of the previous Farplane releases, delivering a quality package! Some early DJ reactions Axwell: Such a classic! Love it! StoneBridge: Can't pick one, just insane really! Dimitri from Paris: Good update for today's dancefloor indeed! Andy Ward (Soul Central): Fond, fond memories of this the first time around.... Will do great for today's floors. Mr. V: Rasmus Faber can do no wrong at this point, yet another banger. Richard Earnshaw: Marvellous stuff! New Ever After cut is top draw ;) Aaron Ross: Nice! Gonna rock this one at Pacha this weekend.. Evan Landes (Groove Junkies): I wish we could find our way back to putting quality music out like this again. Thanks Rasmus. Nice twist to the original. Perfect tunes for the Summer! Jask: DOPENESS! Very nice touch up! :-) Michael Fossati: Fantastic remix and lovely done remaster off the timeless classic... 2 Good Souls: Loved the original but this is banging!! Will fit into our sets with ease... in the box for sure. Jonny Montana & Craig Stewart: This is what we're talkin' about, pure unadulterated, top draw, dance your booty off house music. All tracks are breathtaking, loved them first time around and lovin' them even more now. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! Mario Chrisostomou: Absolutely awesome! Press play and welcome summer! Markus Milz: Excellent summer anthem! Will def play it out, thanks for this! Parrish Wintersmith (Music & Maneuvers, eletronicamagazine.com): Each time I played the original I would think to myself, woo wee, this intro groove is absolutely SIIICK!. well, Bro. Faber's new remix is even more to the point for the dancefloor because it focuses exactly on the actual groove as opposed to the intricate musical changes, cute. 9 count turnarounds and elongated breakdowns/buildups (which Rasmus executes with acute precision on the regular, mind you). This one's gonna tear some walls down!!
