What Do You Do (feat. Renae Rain)

A 1 track soulful house single (5m 18s) — released February 16th 2018 on Farplane Records

Swedish producer Rasmus Faber celebrates his 15th year of producing house music with a series of fresh, soulful, funk and disco inspired house tracks for 2018 which include that sprinkling of pop magic that Swedes seem to have inherently in their DNA.

'What Do You Do' sees Rasmus team up with Estonian based UK born singer Renae Rain, a meeting borne from a mutual musician friend that has reaped a catchy-as you-like houser that manages to marry UK inspired bass sounds and hands in the air discotastic grooves with Rasmus's trademark live instrumentation, sunshine pianos and some fly cowbell (back by popular demand!).

This first single shows Rasmus is still in love with his club-land roots and perfectly complements the 2018 announcement of his new twice-monthly Friday night residency at Stockholm's longest running soul and jazz club 'Fasching' and is evidence enough of why, over his dynamic career of a decade and a half he's collaborated with fellow house elites such as Kaskade, Axwell and Deadmua5, appears on over 100 releases on imprints such as Defected, Ministry of Sound and Subliminal as well as running his own label Farplane Records out of Stockholm, doing things on his terms.

When not making us leap for the nearest dancefloor podium, Rasmus is playing live to thousands around the world with his jazz, funk and Latin inspired live bands 'Platina Jazz' (7 albums in) and (Rafa Orchestra) (2 million YouTube views in 2 weeks of an unofficial ReJam of Calvin Harris's Slide - a taste of what's coming) as well as composing music for anime TV and film productions, co-writing and producing and a lot more we can't fit in here.
