Sweden's acclaimed producer, DJ, composer, and pianist, Rasmus Faber, returns to his dance music roots revealing the first of an exciting new series of forthcoming productions on his Farplane label with 'Seem To Last'. Well known for his classic dance hits such as 'Ever After' 'Divided / United', and 'Get Over Here', 'Seem To Last' is a slice of gleaming sunshine for the dance floor as Rasmus' delivers his signature uplifting Latin House grooves coupled with live instrumentation. A flawless production, 'Seem To Last' is centred around a catchy vocal hook that ebbs and flows over a hot bed of filtered synth washes, uplifting pianos and a seductive funky bass, as Rasmus gets ready to fire up the dance floors this summer!

Rasmus Faber's roots run deep in melodic, soulful house music. After rising to prominence in the 2000s with a string of standout releases that blended jazz, Latin, and live musicianship into club-ready tracks, he became a defining figure for fans of the more musical side of house. His productions feature on iconic labels like Defected and Armada and led to collaborations with Axwell, Deadmau5, and Kaskade. In recent years, Rasmus has been composing music for anime, VR platforms, and major game franchises including Macross Delta, Metal Gear Solid, and Honor of Kings, the latter earning him a Hollywood Music in Media Award. At the same time, his jazz-meets-anime project Platina Jazz became a success in Japan and beyond, with nine albums and a global cult following.


Coming full circle, on his new releases for Farplane, Rasmus is drawing on his early influences and bringing a renewed focus to soulful contemporary grooves, Latin rhythm, and live instrumentation. It marks a continuation of the sound he helped pioneer, updated with the depth and craft developed over two decades of music-making. This new phase reaffirms Rasmus Faber's identity as an artist grounded in musicality, rhythm, and the energy of the dancefloor.
